Where did it all begin?
In 1885 German psychologist, Hermann Ebbinghaus described the Forgetting and Learning Curves following experiments he conducted on himself to test his memory.
The forgetting curve proved the exponential loss of information learned over a period and the learning curve demonstrated how knowledge is learned and maintained over time. The principles of Ebbinghaus' findings form the basis of the MicroLearning concept in today's L&D.
